The Ethnological Museum


Founded in 1965, it's the largest museum of its kind in Asia. The exhibits covers different aspects of life and activities of a wide array of ethnic groups including: Bom, Chaak, Chakma, Gaaro, Hajang, Khumi, Lusai, Marma, Monipuri, Murang, Palia, Sautal, Shimuji, Tipra and Tongsinga from Bangladesh, and some other ethnic groups from India, Pakistan and Australia.
